BACKGROUND
In the era of pursuing consumption experience and consumption upgrade, coffee as a culture and symbol has been sought after and favored by the young clientele like never before.
In 2020, China already has a coffee consumption market with a size of around 300 billion yuan. According to multiple forecasts, China's coffee market will continue to grow rapidly at a rate of over 10% per year. Along with the rise of coffee culture, coffee machines are no longer niche imports, and with the help of online channels, they are beginning to be understood by more and more consumers, and the consumer base is expanding.
Market Trend
As coffee culture in China continues to evolve, consumer habits are shifting from basic needs to richer and more diverse experiences. This transformation can be seen through the different stages of coffee development — from instant coffee to branded chains, boutique cafés, and now the rise of smart coffee machines.

Concept Development
There is a lack of representative coffee machines that are both smart and portable,
so this is where my design concept will be developed.
Design Chance
The necessary parts of the equipment needed to make a cup of coffee are extracted, analysed, adapted and redesigned so that they are reproduced in a single product, and new structures are added to the original to make it more complete, convenient, safe and intelligent.
